Research Team : Dynamics and Control of Structures
Controlling the dynamic behavior of machines and industrial structures is essential to their smooth operation, especially in highly strategic sectors such as energy and transport. This control is also essential for products that are even closer to our everyday concerns (consumer goods, electronic equipment, health...), or at another extreme for very high-tech products associated with fundamental research (astrophysics, particle detection...).
In all cases, the aim is to anticipate, control and monitor, so as to be in a position, for example, to improve improve performance, enhance safety, comply with standards, increase comfort, extend service life and robustness, reduce pollution, reduce on-board weight, ensure energy autonomy. The activities of the Structures Dynamics and Control (DCS) team are focused on these key objectives.
